In 2001, he transitioned to working with Salomon Smith Barney in Beverly Hills, California. He later worked with a national asset management platform serving both advisors and clients with investment management solutions.

Shane resides in The Woodlands with his four children. He graduated with a B.A. in Finance from the University of Houston.
